Summary

Throughout my career I have pursued opportunities that align with my passion for Documentary Arts, Experimental Filmmaking and Sensory Ethnography. I began my practice within analogue Documentary Photography & Film. Creating work instinctively generated from lived experience, seeking the raw over the ‘real’. I balance working in education while exhibiting Photographs and Film installations across the UK. My experimental Documentary practice investigates Identity, Post-industrial communities, energy, tangible & visceral life forces, Medical and Environmental Humanities. Most recently I was selected as part of Sheffield Documentary Film Festival AR Talents 2024.

Currently in post-production I have an eco-feminist embodied documentary ‘North Sea Sisterhood’ exploring grief and ‘synostopia’ through Sensory Ethnography (an idea I developed on residency with Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology).

My current immersive project has been supported through workshops with Live Cinema UK, CULTVR Cardiff, Mediale and Alexander Whitley Dance Studio.
